Konquo or Run An Empire?

The pioneer of territorial running against a more strategic approach.

Run An Empire popularised the idea of conquering territory by running, well before anyone else. Konquo builds on that principle and adds a strategic layer and multi-sport support.

What Run An Empire does better

Run An Empire has been an established product for years, publicly available, with a settled community and press coverage Konquo does not yet have. Its head start gives it a stability and a development history we cannot claim after a few weeks of beta.

What Konquo brings

Konquo adds classes that change the capture rules, documented GPS filtering and anti-cheat, and counts cycling and hiking alongside running. The H3 hexagon grid also allows street-level granularity.

So which one should you pick?

Run An Empire if you want a proven product available right now. Konquo if the strategic layer and multi-sport support appeal to you, accepting that you are joining a younger project.
