What Motera does better
Motera is already public and free on the App Store. Its Fog of War hides the streets you have never run, turning every run into exploration: Konquo has no such mechanic. It also goes further on the social side, with groups, chats, comments and posts, and offers full run tracking: pace, splits, elevation, calories, Lock Screen Live Activities and route playback.
What Konquo brings
Konquo runs on Android as well as iPhone, and counts running, cycling, hiking and walking. Activities recorded on a GPS watch or bike computer import through Polar, Suunto, COROS, Wahoo, Fitbit, Oura or Apple Health, and a direct Garmin connection is coming. Capture works hexagon by hexagon, with no loop to close, and four classes with passive powers add a real strategic layer. Every track also goes through anti-cheat filtering.
So which one should you pick?
If you only run, on an iPhone, and exploration and a social network motivate you, Motera is worth a try. If you are on Android, also ride or hike, or record with a GPS watch or bike computer, Konquo will suit you better.
